Webinar Outlines Drone Services for Tissue Dust

Dust creates significant problems and risks for paper mills, especially for tissue manufacturers with a bulkier, softer end product. This issue is clearly visible in any paper manufacturing facility, getting worse when approaching the dry end of the machine hall.

To help address this issue, Valmet developed a flying drone for industrial use. The drone is equipped with a gage to protect it while cleaning and the drone itself uses an integrated heavy-duty blower to remove the dust. To explain how the drone was developed, and how it safely removes dust in tissue mills and other industrial applications, Valmet product specialist, Tissue Solutions Bobby Hyde, has recorded a free webinar—simply register for access.

Expert Perspectives on Water Resilience

Climate change, aging infrastructure, and rising demand are reshaping how communities access and manage water. Yet, while industry data shows where water systems are vulnerable or strong, public perception often lags behind—or diverges entirely. This disconnect leads to inaction at a time when decisive action is urgently needed.

The Kemira Water Index intends to close that gap. It combines a broad spectrum of expert perspectives—spanning infrastructure, governance, climate vulnerability, and investment—with public sentiment gathered through a large-scale global consumer survey. Together, these insights offer a comprehensive view of water resilience across 10 European countries and 10 US states. Whether you’re shaping policy, investing in infrastructure, or simply trying to understand the future of water, this report—created by a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water-intensive industries—intends to offer a clear, data-driven starting point.
