AF&PA and CPA Discuss Industry Priorities

AF&PA hosted the Corrugated Packaging Alliance (CPA) at their offices to discuss key priorities for the industry. 

AF&PA’s President and CEO, Heidi Brock, and Executive Director of Recovered Fiber, Abigail Sztein, met with industry partners, including:

• Mike D’Angelo, President of AICC (The Independent Packaging Association)
• Lawton Roberts, President and CEO of TAPPI (Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry)
• Bob McIlvaine, President and CEO of Fibre Box Association
• Cory Martin, Executive Vice President of Fibre Box Association

The group discussed top industry priorities, including:

• Industry engagement on extended producer responsibility (EPR) legislation and laws
• Research projects and life cycle assessments underway
• Independent and partnered efforts to educate target audiences on the benefits of corrugated
