Burgo Group Announces Price Hikes

Burgo Group, an Italian paper manufacturer, has announced a price increase of at least 7–8 per cent for all graphic and speciality paper grades, according to Euwid. The decision follows  recent rises in energy, logistics and various raw material costs.

The increase is set to apply to all new orders. According to Burgo, the higher costs have a significant impact on profitability, adding that its sales organisation would manage the implementation of the new conditions in the individual markets, Euwid said.

The Burgo Group is an industrial holding company of a group operating in the production and distribution of paper for the graphics sector, speciality papers (for example for food use) and containerboard, as well as in the production and sale of fibrous raw materials (chemical pulp, mechanical pulp, deinked pulp) and energy.
