MAJIQ Names David Pawelke President

November 4, 2026

MAJIQ has appointed David Pawelke as president, succeeding Steve Latham, who has retired after more than three decades of leadership with the company and across the pulp and paper industry.

Pawelke previously served as chief operating officer of the Redmond, Washington-based company, which specializes in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise software for pulp and paper producers.

His experience spans pulp and paper manufacturing, industrial software and executive management. According to MAJIQ, he has helped guide the company’s evolution, including investments in its next-generation Ether MES platform and initiatives focused on customer success, product innovation and operational performance.

Leadership continuity and technology investment

During his tenure, Latham helped establish MAJIQ’s position as a technology supplier to pulp and paper manufacturers worldwide and contributed to developing the company’s next generation of leaders.

MAJIQ said it would continue investing in specialized software and working closely with customers to guide product development. As part of Constellation Software Inc., the company operates under a long-term ownership model that supports continued investment in industry-specific technology.
