This milestone project showcases advanced pulp mill technology and environmental leadership, generating 1 TWh of surplus green electricity annually while boosting UPM's production capacity by over 50%. The complete turnkey solution included wood processing, fiber line, recovery systems, and biomass power generation, demonstrating ANDRITZ's expertise in large-scale industrial project management. Despite COVID-19 challenges, the project experienced minimal delays, reinforcing proven engineering excellence and sustainable manufacturing practices that industry veterans recognize as setting new performance standards.
