Multiple leadership opportunities are available as Working Group Chairs for nine methods, including bagasse fiber determination, wood chip bulk density, and pulp processing techniques. Additional member positions are open across twelve methods covering mechanical pulp testing, coating analysis, and specialty paper evaluation. These volunteer roles offer mid-career professionals the chance to shape industry standards, demonstrate technical leadership to employers, and build valuable cross-company networks. Minimum three TAPPI members from different organizations required per group.
