Toscotec Continues Penetration of US market with New TT SteelDryer Start-up

Toscotec has recently completed a dryer section rebuild including more than 10 TT SteelDryer cylinders at a leading American paper producer that remains confidential. This group has placed numerous repeat orders relating to four different production bases in the USA. In North America, Toscotec has installed more than 70 TT SteelDryers to date.

The clear benefits of replacing cast iron dryers with TT SteelDryers

The replacement of the existing cast iron cans with Toscotec’s TT SteelDryers has delivered a twofold advantage to these four paper mills:

• Ensure an effortless and cost-effective substitution by maintaining the same overall dimensions of the dryer section. This is possible because steel dryers are custom sized on every project, therefore the existing machine frames, housings, bearings, and steam equipment remain unchanged.
• Boost production by increasing the drying capacity of the paper machines, as well as increasing the cylinders’ drying width with the same face length.
• Toscotec manufacturing capability for TT SteelDryer cylinders covers up to 10m (393 inches) width.
